Why Technical People Get Paid Less Than Managers

Engineers, Scientists, and Technicians almost never make as much money as business executives.
Let’s see a rigorous mathematical proof that explains why this is true:
Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power (Knowledge = Power)
Postulate 2: Time is Money (Time = Money)
As every engineer knows, Power = Work/Time
Since Knowledge = Power, and Time = Money (from postulate 1 and 2 above), we have Knowledge = Work/Money
Solving for Money, we get: Money = Work/Knowledge
Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity regardless of the Work done.
Conclusion: The Less you Know, The More you Make.

Haha! nice. did you make this up or rip it?
now that’s what I’m talking ’bout, need I say more
nice and realistic equation.!
Very clever. I really enjoyed that being an engineer myself.

The real reason is that technical people are simply cannon fodder. They just do mechanical work, just suitable for robots mostly. They are replaceable and do not make the real value (which is the last 5% of the products anyways).
Hey James:
I had it saved from some email sent to me way back but this thing must be out there lot of places.
Vikas.
This also demonstrates the superiority of intelligent design over science: you don’t need any knowledge to perform efficiently, but you need an engineer/scientist to demonstrate it!
this just made my day
