There is a Windows key on most of the modern keyboards.

This key can be used to perform lot of shortcut operations. Some popular ones are:

1. Windows: Opens the Start menu
2. Windows + E: Open the Windows Explorer.
3. Windows + D: Minimizes/Restore all the Windows
4. Windows + F: Display Search for files
5. Windows + Ctrl + F: Display Search for computer
6. Windows + F1: Display Help and Support Center
7. Windows + R: Display Run dialog box
8. Windows + break: Display System Properties dialog box
9. Windows + shift + M: Undo minimize all windows
10. Windows + L: Lock the workstation
11. Windows + U: Open Utility Manager
