How to open each link click in a new IE Window/Tab?

Any link in your outlook or any other application when clicked opens up in Internet Explorer (assuming default browser is IE). The annoying part is that the click ends up using the same Internet Explorer window that is already open (instead of opening the site in a new window or tab) and you lose the site which you had open.

The way to avoid this and configure your IE to always open any link clicks in a new tab or window is to do this:

Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced

uncheck the checkbox “Reuse windows for launching shortcuts…” and click ok.

Now all clicks will open in new IE window (IE6) or in new tab IE7.
