Technacular Down for 48 hours

I apologize for my mistake which resulted in the loss of entire Technacular web files. The blog was down for around 48 hours.
The culprit was force remove command which I thought I was running under a sub directory but instead it was in the main root directory. The result, all my domains’ web content just disappeared. Unfortunately, UNIX does not have a recycle bin which gives you a second change to recover things.
One thing you should do to avoid such issues is set an alias in your .bashrc file:
alias rm=’rm-i’
Thanks to 1&1 support team, they were able to recover it from the backup.
I look forward to your continued support.
Please share with me any such experience you have had and how you dealt with it.
