Email Antivirus Scanners Can Fail. Have a backup option!

I generally count on Gmail’s virus scanner to scan the emails and report any potential problems and have taken it for granted. That is why I was surprised the other day to get this message:
Gmail virus scanner just failed to scan it.
I always have my desktop antivirus running so it was not an issue for me but if you do not have it you should. Check out the free alternatives here.
