CES now becomes a place where new technology fights for deals
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has become one of the world’s biggest technological expos. It draws the attention of the media and helps to establish what types of gadgets and gizmos we will be buying over the coming 12 months. For example, in 2012 the big news that dominated CES was that South Korean manufacturer LG would be launching its first 55-inch OLED TVs on the commercial market. However, the real impetus behind the importance and glamour of CES is firmly based within the industry itself, not in the realm of consumers.
